**Job Description** About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Compliance Coordinator to join our high-performing team in Rotorua.

As our Compliance Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations not only meet but exceed compliance standards. You'll work closely with our management team to coordinate compliance activities, implement company policies, and uphold our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to achieving our safety and sustainability targets, making a tangible impact on our environment and community.
**Qualifications** Who are you?**

We’re keen to discuss this position with professionals who thrive on the challenge of attaining operational performance excellence and retaining and developing business over the longer term both with existing stakeholders and with prospective clients.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business administration and/or logistics.
- Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
- Proven leadership, people management and team working skills.
- Moderate experience within the transport/waste/logistics and recycling industries is desirable.
- Exemplary communication skills and the ability to deal at all organisational levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite Reasonably developed mechanical aptitude desirable.
- Current New Zealand driver’s licence.

To succeed, at your disposal you will have your direct report support team and wider operational team that includes office administration, supervisors and a mix of company and contracted operators.
