Civic Cleaner

As a Civic Cleaner you will maintain a consistently high level of cleanliness for a variety of Council buildings and properties. This role is full time role working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday (some weekend work may be required)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Empty and clean all waste receptacles and remove waste.
- Clean mirrors in toilet/cloakroom areas, clean and disinfect hand basins, urinals and toilets and wet mop with disinfectant toilet floors.
- Replenish supplies of toilet paper, soap, towels in toilet areas as necessary.
- Ensure doors are locked when exiting the building.
- Wash floors in foyers weekly or more frequently if required, at specified sites only
- Carry out high dusting throughout the building and clean and wipe down tables in Council Chambers and meeting rooms weekly
- Advise requirements for additional cleaning materials/supplies to Supervisor or Team Leader City Cleaning as required.
- Mop interior floor tiles as required.
- Assist Supervisor Cleaning with hostess duties as directed
- Current drivers licence
- Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Reliable, conscientious and trustworthy
- Able to work early mornings and some weekends if required (on rostered basis)
