**Tēnei tūranga - About the role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Warehousing and BI Developer who will work with the manager to support the ingestion (collection), storage (data warehouse) and curation (management of datasets) of all MBIE data.

Ngā pukenga me ngā wheako e hiahiatia ana - Skills and experience required:
- Improve the storage, retrieval and use of data assets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured form
- Support the development data pipeline architecture optimal to advancing the use of analytics and insights
- Construct data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements, some of which are of a large, complex nature
- Identify and drive improvement of processes in automation, optimization of delivery, scalability of data structures
- Knowledge and experience working with various relational databases, proficiency in query authoring (SQL)
- Knowledge of working with a variety of on premise and cloud data warehousing solutions (preferably Azure)
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, architectures, data warehouses, data marts and data sets.
- Must have legal right to live and work in NZ
