Supply Planner

Due to growth we are seeking an experienced Supply Planner to join an experienced and cohesive team reporting to the S&OP Planning Manager. This role is based in our brand new “state of the art” Super Kitchen at Awatoto, Napier and may involve some domestic travel to our North Island and South Island facilities.

The Supply Planner will focus on the inventory levels required to meet predicted consumer demands for two key manufacturing sites. You will utilize the consumer demand forecasts the Demand Planner generates and will be an integral part of the supply chain planning process.

Given the nature of this role, we need someone who has impeccable attention to detail & takes pride in their precision & accuracy. You will be an analytic person with a strong planning background.

A critical aspect of the role is the ability to work alongside key stakeholders within our business - so, you’ll need a proven ability to build cross functional relationships & communicate effectively.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Analyse & validate MRP/excel data to ensure accurate & timely production plans are in place for the manufacturing sites
- Serve as the focal point of contact for internal stakeholders, communicate relevant information of stock availability, shortages, or delays to demand planner and provide supply issue resolution
- Help to drive significant improvements in the supply planning process including supply planning, purchasing, and distribution according to demand forecasts, considering capacity constraints and material availability
- Control inventory levels across the range to ensure demand forecast is met
- Anticipate potential risks, develop contingency plans and proactively support strategic and/or complex decisions
- Track current inventory, analysing available data from demand planning, inventory reports and other resources and recommending changes

**The person we are seeking will have**:

- A tertiary qualification in supply chain or similar
- Demonstrated success in a similar level position with a minimum 5 years’ experience in a relevant role
- A solid understanding of ERP and inventory systems
- FMCG experience an advantage
- Competency in MS office
