Flour Miller

**Our Opportunity**

We are looking for experienced **Flour Millers** to join our Milling teamat Champion Flour Milling **Mount Maunganui** on a permanent full-time basis where we manufacture flour and pre-mixed products.

**Our work is exciting, busy and varies being part of this success requires**:

- Ensuring all health and safety rules, standards and policies are adhered to, including reporting any incidents or near misses to the Team Leader.
- Ensure the mill maintains world class housekeeping standards and be audit ready daily.
- Ensuring the highest product quality standards are maintained.
- manage and oversee equipment operations of the flour mill as part of a self-directed team.
- Optimize yields, moistures, capacity, and product quality in accordance with budgetary parameters
- Maintain records in accordance with established Champion Flour policies and procedures
- Assist external departments
- Proactively seek and support the plant goals and vision in accordance with ADM Millings strategic vision
- Base all decisions, perform acts and personify self in the best interest on the company
- Proactively support operational excellence initiatives.
- Continually train and develop operational team members.
- Minimum 4+ years experience in the Milling industry
- National Association British and Irish Miller (NABIM) Qualification or City & Guilds Milling training or equivalent
- Willing to work a rotating shift roster
- Capability of lifting, up to 20kgs
- Mechanical experience required
- Machine operator experience required
- Good numeracy, literacy, and communication skills
- Willing to work on a rotating shift basis

**Hours of work**: This is a full-time, permanent position working across a 7-day week, rotating shift, minimum 40 hours per week.

**Wage rate**: $30.00 -$35.00 p/hour depending on experience and skills
