Radio Host

An opportunity to work as a host with Panjaab Radio for news, anchoring and entertainment programmes.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Keep up to date with relevantstoriesand news
- Conducting interviews, identifying relevant video and audio cuts, including re-editing interviews when required
- Appear on-air as required
- introducing programs, music, entertainment items, guests and celebrities
- preparing and reading news, making special announcements and providing commentary for other events
- Presenting opinions on relevant cultural matters
- researching, investigating and compiling stories and programs
- Promoting Events
- Live Audience Entertainment
- Assisting in Hosting/Anchoring stage performances where applicable

**About You**:
Working as part of a team in a high-energy programming environment, youll need:

- Knowledge of current affairs
- Experience in live production
- The ability to appear on air
- A broadcast-quality voice, including excellent pronunciation skills
- The ability to work under pressure and be brimming with ideas and ways to turn them into compelling radio and online content
- Proven experience in the Punjabi entrainment industry

Minimum 30 hours a week.
