**Qualified Gardener - Tauranga**

**The Opportunity**

Are you passionate about plants, skilled in horticulture, and dedicated to creating stunning outdoor spaces? We are seeking a qualified and experienced gardener to join our team in Tauranga.

Our Tauranga team is the best in the business when it comes to maintaining open spaces in the community. In this role you will be responsible for the planting and maintenance of gardens in parks and reserves in the Tauranga area.

**Responsibilities**

This role will be responsible for:

- Ongoing maintenance of gardens, parks and reserves
- Working on a reactive and/or scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications
- Annual bedding displays
- Basic weeding
- Line trimming
- Mulching

**Requirements**:

- Full Class 1 Driver Licence
- Experience in garden maintenance or relevant industry
- A relevant national certificate in Horticulture / Level 4 Certificate.
- Ability to work to and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A strong emphasis on health and safety
- Ability to work alone and within the wider team.
- Passion for the local community
