**What's the job?**

In this exciting role at Kiri Te Kanawa Retirement Village in Gisborne, the Resident Services Manager will:

- Lead with kindness and oversee the delivery of the village service functions including kitchen, housekeeping, gardening, maintenance, laundry and administration teams
- Provide leadership support to Reception and Administration teams and general leadership at village in the absence of the Village Manager
- Have oversight for all risk management and health and safety related processes for the village
- Actively promote team members to be involved in health, safety and wellbeing
- Lead and model the Ryman characteristics by motivating and inspiring your team to 'Do it safely or not at all'
- Work collaboratively with the village leadership team to foster a culture of excellence, fun friendly supportive environment that is 'Good enough for Mum or Dad'
- Manage the roster for Auxiliary teams ensuring adequate staffing levels and recruitment is maintained
- Educate team members on mandatory training, inductions, policies and procedures to promote compliance
- Manage recruitment and onboarding process collaboratively with the Village Manager to ensure an exceptional employee experience for new hires

This is a full-time position workingTuesday to Saturday 0800 - 1630. You will need to be flexible outside of these hours, as part of the role will require your ability to work on call.
