**Our Client**
Our client is one of the prominent companies that is specialists in 3PL for hazardous substances and food grade products. They provide storage, transport, repacking, and toll blending for hazardous substances, dangerous goods and for food grade chemical products. Products within the warehouse are 20-30 litre plastic/paper bags as well as drums and cartons.

They have sites around the East Tamaki area and a site in Christchurch

**Mon to Fri 8:30am - 5:00pm**

**About the role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for the right person to join our growing Operations team - starting immediately.

You will be part of a team responsible for controlling and coordinating the supply, storage, and distribution of goods throughout the supply chain and warehousing process at our facilities.

You will be involved across all areas of the warehouse including inwards goods, put away, picking and packing, stocktaking, and completing documentation to high standards.

Client provides internal and external training and are highly focused on both personal and professional development.

**You will need**:

- Be able to operate counterbalance/reach (the racking are 8-10 levels high)
- Experience with Bendi Machine but not essentials
- Have worked in similar type roles or environments (chemical type products)
- Dangerous goods training and certification (preferred)
- Exposure to and knowledge of legislation and compliance requirements relating to dangerous goods, and best practice (preferred)
- A good understanding of warehousing operations and the health and safety regulations applicable to this industry.
- Full drivers’ licence - (preferably with F endorsement)
- An understanding of Inventory control
- Neat and accurate written paperwork and numeracy
- H&S, Quality and Environmental awareness
- Experience in 'triple-checking system'.
- Physically fit and strong to carry out manual lifting work,
- Enjoys fast paced/busy work environment,
- Be a Team Player
- Strong communications skills/abilities
- Attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills
- Proven reliability & attitude
- Must pass drug test.
- Ideally no criminal convictions
- Must be legally entitled to work in New Zealand
