CNC Machining Co Ltd are an Auckland based, family-run, company. With many years of experience in the manufacture of machined components we are a competitive company in the world of engineering. We are looking for an Advanced Machine Setter/Programmer/Operator to join our bust team.

Duties will include:
Preparing CNC programs

Preparing pattern mechanisms to control the operation of CNC machines used to make assembled parts and products

Fitting metal parts and subassemblies to produce machines and equipment

Checking metal parts for accuracy, clearance and fit using precision measuring instruments

Setting guides, stops and other controls on machining tools, setting up prescribed cutting and shaping tools and dies in machines and presses, and setting controls for CNC machines

Studying and interpreting drawings to determine method and sequence of operations and machine settings

Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly

Maintain a constant work flow through the workshop by minimizing down time due to CNC programs

Identify and report any cost improvements

Other duties as assigned

**Experience/qualifications required**

Minimum 2 years CNC setting and operating experience

Knowledge of AutoCAD and CNC Programming

Proven experience of working with measuring equipment including Vernier Calipers, Micrometres, Bore Gauges and DTI Gauges

Employment is permanent and is for a minimum of 40hrs a week between 7:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Applicants must be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Pay rate $28 to$0 per hour depending on experience
