**Planning the Linehaul fleet movements across New Zealand to ensure the delivery of customer household goods from pick-up to drop-off.**

The Moving Company is part of the largest moving group in New Zealand with a team of over 120 staff and 60+ furniture trucks operating from our primary office and warehouse complexes in Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch with a globally connected network spanning over 50 markets.

**About the Role**:
The role is diverse and interesting, and each day is different with new origins and destinations to schedule to meet our customers logístical timings. The fleet scheduling covers the general model of transport from containerisation to semi-trailers or furniture box body trucks.

You will be responsible for planning the movements of the Linehaul fleet across New Zealand to ensure the delivery of our customers household goods from pick-up to delivery. You will be responsible for load planning, container/fleet optimisation, maintenance scheduling and management of Linehaul Drivers road safety compliance.

**Core Objectives**:
Schedule truck movements from residential collection to delivery.
Manage changes to the schedule and review scheduled deliveries.
Carry out comprehensive audits on Class 5 Linehaul Drivers to ensure legal commitments are met.
Overview of the fleet management of Linehaul vehicles.
Engage with the Sales team to provide solutions to customer moving requirements.
Be available for your linehaul crews when issues occur up on the road.
