We are seeking an experienced, certificated, self-motivated, enthusiastic Head Teacher who has a passion for working in multicultural communities. This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) in an established and well-resourced kindergarten with a roll of 40 children and a teacher to child ratio of 1:10.

We are seeking a Head Teacher who possesses experience with ECE management, who is versatile and a great communicator, who can lead quality teaching practices for a small team in a mixed age setting, has a good understanding of inclusive planning, assessment and internal evaluation practices. You will also have excellent communication with all members of the wider kindergarten community. We are looking for a Head Teacher who has a passion for building meaningful relationships with team, children and their families and who has a drive to provide learning opportunities that extend beyond the centre, out into the wider community. You in turn will be welcomed into a team connected to the attending community.

**Hours required**: Monday to Friday between 8.00am - 4.30pm

- Head Teacher Applicants require a minimum Level 7 Diploma or Bachelor of Teaching ECE, current first aid certificate and current New Zealand teacher registration practising certificate._
