Toplifter Operator

Employing over 1200 staff in 12 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand’s port related product and cargo handling as well as being a pivotal player in keeping the supply chain moving.
We are looking for staff with heavy machinery operation experience to operate Toplifter and heavy forklift container moving machinery at Sulphur Point in Tauranga.
This is a permanent position with a minimum hours guarantee of 160 hours over a four week period, which will follow a 4 days on 4 days off roster pattern. Flexibility is required as there may be occasions where you are required to work outside of these hours.
We are looking for a motivated team player who will fit in well with our existing tight-knit and dedicated team. You will require good communication skills and be committed to adhering to Health and Safety procedures. Good time management skills and attention to detail are also required to ensure that our customer’s cargo is handled with the utmost care.
**Essential requirements for the position are**:
Proven container machinery driving experience (heavy forklift, reach stacker or top lifter)
Flexibility and reliability
Good communication skills
Time management skills and ability to work unsupervised
Ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
Commitment to the Health & Safety of yourself and others
Full Class 2 driver licence and F endorsement
