- HGS Ltd is looking for full-time permanent Class 1 or Class2 truck drivers. The company is based in Auckland Region, but you may be driving outside of Auckland dependent upon delivery and transport arrangements.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery heavy vehicle
- Assisting with loading to ensure goods are arranged for ease of delivery and safely secured to avoid damage
- Reporting vehicle maintenance needs to the owner
- May receive payments for deliveries
- Ensure Road User Charges (RUC), Registration and COFare up to date
- Ensure all loads comply with height, weight, andspecification.
- To inspect the vehicle and to ensure it has proper levelsof gas, water, and oil and that the truck is in overallgood condition to perform the move.
- The truck driver will then have to return thetruck and any other equipment to the company.
- Aside from all of the on-the-job responsibilities, thetruck driver is also accountable for holding the proper licenses.
- Ask for feed back on provided services and resolve issues
- Complete log books andreports
- Follow H&S regulations and safety standards
- Checking condition of goods and obtaining certificationof deliveries
- Reporting to the Owner
- Be physically Fit
- Be Honest and Reliable
- Ability to work on Weekends
- Be punctual
- Be Drugfree
- Have good attention to detail
- Clean Criminal History

Experience or Qualification:

- 1 year experience driving truckspreferred not necessary, Training woud be provided
- NZ Class 1 or Class 2 Drivers License Or Equivalent International Drivers License with an ability to obtain Class 1 or Class 2 License in New Zealand

Hours and Position:

- It is a full time permanent job with minimum 30 hours + per week.

Pay Rate:

- $28 to $30 perhour
