**About the role**

Support and guide students through our Agriculture Trades Academy Programmes. These programmes provide year 11 to 13 students with a broad range of skills to be set up for a career in the agriculture industry.

In this role you would:

- Deliver quality Agriculture Trades Academy Programmes by providing students with a consistent, dynamic, and valuable learning experience.
- Enable students to have the theoretical and practical knowledge to be set up for a career pathway in the agriculture industry.
- Create a safe learning environment for all students, by following safe work practices and procedures.
- Ensure all student results, reviews and evaluations are completed promptly.
- Manage relationships with farmers, schools, and other key stakeholders.

This is a permanent role for 40 hours per week. Relationships with schools are in Manawatu and Southern Hawkes Bay but we will consider applicants from the wider area.

**Skills and Experience**
- Qualification or equivalent experience in agriculture/farming/primary industries.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring and assessment with proven ability to effectively deliver interesting informative programmes.
- Experience in customer service and stakeholder management, with proven ability to build, maintain and proactively manage relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
