We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Customer Services team in the permanent Full Time role of Checkout Assistant.

**This role will be Full Time, 40 hours a week with following shift pattern**:
Sunday - 9.30am to 6pm

Monday - 9.30am to 6pm

Tuesday - 12.30pm to 9pm

Wednesday - 9am to 5.30pm

Thursday - 11.30am to 8pm

We are looking for someone whose passion is people. This is a role where experience in customer service is preferred but not essential. This position has the ability to evolve into one with extra responsibility including Self-Service lanes, Lotto, Coffee, Customer Service and Supervising operations of checkout. This is a fantastic opportunity to come and work at an amazing supermarket and in an industry with job security and stability.

**Your day to day**:

- Delivering outstanding customer service and building rapport with customers.
- Scanning items accurately and packing groceries while still maintaining excellent customer service, think multi-tasking
- Working in a team environment and giving effective communication.
- Cleaning and collecting trolleys, making sure our checkout area looks amazing

**What we need from you**:

- Flexibility and availability to work different days and hours across the week.
- A natural ability to work with people and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Great communication and time management skills.
- A positive approach to your day.
- Good personal presentation.
- A team player.

Additional hours will be required from time to time to cover illness and leave for other team members.
