We are seeking an experienced pizza maker to prepare high-quality pizzas per customer orders at our Avalon Pizza store. The pizza maker is responsible for preparing pizza dough, chopping, grating, or dicing a variety of ingredients, and cleaning pizza ovens. Additionally, you must always maintain a tidy workstation.

**Responsibility**
- preparing pizza dough, sauces, and a variety of garnishes, including tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and meats.
- Monitoring the temperature and cooking periods of the pizza ovens.
- Creating high-quality pizzas in accordance with company specifications.
- As required, monitoring inventory and placing orders for additional supplies.
- Before preparing pizza, workstations are cleaned.
- Ensure that all culinary utensils and equipment are sterilised prior to each use.
- Plating or packaging pizzas accordingly.
- Managing all food order slips and assuring timely completion of customers' orders.
- At the conclusion of each shift, discarding any ingredients that have expired or become spoiled.

**Minimum 30 Hours per week guarantee**

**Requirements**:

- Must be New Zealander
- Available for long shifts.
- Knowledge of the appropriate food handling procedures.
- The aptitude to adhere to standard recipes.
- The capacity to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The capacity for teamwork.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, Waikato: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
