Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will join the RAN Business Unit and will enjoy our culture of innovation, openness, discipline, simplicity, accountability, and profit mindset. Your future teams are developing Nokia 3GPP mainstream radio technology products and solutions including cross-technology responsibility (Multi Radio Access Technology). Your unit’s main priorities are flawless execution of System programs including Network Management & Optimization and attached services.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Customer Project Management (CPM) within the Network Planning and Optimisation (NPO) domain ensuring customer projects / programmes are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality. Contains projects throughout all phases, starting from delivery approach identification to completion / care / operation. Comprises management of customer (and all stakeholder) relationships and expectations during the contract fulfilment as well as project team members / resources. Contains project risk management, and driving of improvement actions to secure project gross margin and upselling and cross-selling.

**Role Purpose**:
The NPO Customer Project Manager is accountable for an external customer programme (collection of projects managed together for business benefits) or project for an assigned product and / or service scope. Assigns tasks to the project team and manages project resources and stakeholders, ensuring the project is delivered in scope of contractual obligations and within forecasted costs, time, and required quality. Responsible for the overall project success with respect to external customer satisfaction, financial results, health & safety control activities, and operational services delivery performance. End-to-end project planning and risk and opportunity management.

**Your skills and experience**
- Passionate and highly skilled within RAN and RAN performance all the way from design to optimization & operation
- Seeks to define new opportunities to expand and renew contracts with the customer
- Manages customer NPO projects for a 2G/3G/4G/5G network enhancement for New Zealand and Pacific Island customers - customer facing
- Accountable for the responsible design and performance related activities. Passionately taking the responsibility and ownership of the networks.
- Internal and external stakeholder management
- Lead NPO team and deliverables within the customer teams.
- Identify scope creeps and initiate change orders for new opportunities.
- Management of NW data collection, OSS & drive test activities
- Accountable for NPO automation and solutions in the project.
- Accountable for NPO Planning, Design and Acceptance scope, procedures and documentation.
- Plans customer project and keeps plan updated to reflect and anticipate changes by coordinating change management on all aspects affecting cost, scope, schedule and quality (CSSQ).
- Assures consistency among project financial, product and service forecast activities.
