Your Opportunity

Team Global Express is looking for a self-motivated individual to join their team in Christchurch. Reporting to the Christchurch Branch Manager, this position will be instrumental in encouraging a good working relationship between internal and external customers and will be responsible for the delivery of service excellence in freight forwarding.

The key accountabilities in this role include optimising and improving asset productivity, managing resources to maximise business performance, and exceeding customer expectations by ensuring excellent business relationships.

What you’ll bring to this role

To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:

- A minimum of 3 years experience in the transport industry
- Proven experiencing in managing staff
- Knowledge of cost and resource management
- Proven excellence in customer service delivery
- A commitment to safety in the workplace
- A highly developed organisational ability
- Exceptional communication skills
- An ability to positively influence the people you work with

Your tasks:

- Ensure TGE safety protocols are followed at all times
- Visible leadership
- KPI metrics (Scanning, DIFOT, Productivity)
- Follow up on pickups and deliveries
- Active communications with OD's
