Our Opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Storeperson join our team at Quality Bakers, Auckland. The Storeperson is an integral member of the team responsible for ensuring the smooth running of day to day functional operations, inventory management and order processing in the inwards and outwards ingredients store.
You will need willingness to learn and have previous warehouse experience. To ensure success in this role, you will have a good focus on health and safety and be committed to following processes and procedures.

The days of work will be Tuesday to Saturday, starting at 8am every day.

Key responsibilities
- Manage receipting in of inwards stock, ensuring pricing and specifications are within agreed trading terms
- Ensure that damaged stock is removed, recorded, and adjustments completed on a daily basis
- All relevant paperwork and SAP transactions completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with all cycle counts and stock takes
- Ensure any discrepancies are followed up with QBI Warehouse Manager for Investigation
- Ensure ingredients containers are unloaded as planned to meet MAF and customer deadlines
- Ensure storeman are rotating stock correctly with particular attention to slow moving items
- All incidents are reported in InControl within 24 hours and all investigations are completed within 5 working days and all actions are completed on time
- Safety walks and talks completed on time as required
- Ensure team members engage and have a “safety first” attitude and culture
- Assist openly and honestly in audits as required

We are looking for someone with
- Previous warehouse / Inventory Management experience
- Must be an experienced forklift operator
- Experience in using a WMS
- High literacy / numerical skills
- Able to prioritise tasks and work in a busy environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and aptitude to learn
