Grand Millennium Auckland is seeking a hands-on individual to join the Maintenance team as our **Hotel** **Plumber**. This is an ideal role for long term applicants.

You will engage in regular maintenance management of the hotel including but not limited to;
- Preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns in hotel accommodations.
- Complete daily rounds, identifying and reporting problems.
- Working in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organised.
- The role will involve duties specifically relating to the plumbing trade.

**Skills and Experience**
- Knowledge of and experience with copper and plastic pipe fittings
- Excellent planning and coordinating abilities
- Ability to take Initiative when presented with problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Predominantly a Monday to Friday role, but evenings and weekend work may be required on occasion
- A logical and practical approach to general maintenance problems
- 15 years' full-time experience as a qualified plumber preferred

This is a full time position with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Annual salary between $75,000 to $80,000.
