Telecommunication Technician

Novatech Limited specialises in installation, maintenance and repairing electronic
communications equipment in telecommunications networks and internet supply systems.
We are currently seeking 3 Telecommunications Technician to join us
- Your job duties may include but not limited to the following:

- Fibre and cable laying from boundary to premises.
- Diagnostics of faults in cabling and/or in equipment.
- Performs site surveys.
- Assesses and documenting current site network configuration and user
- requirements.
- Diagnosing and resolving network and system faults to ensure optimal networking functionality.
- Setting up the LAN for customer's equipment to the industry specifications.
- Accurately test fibre (multi-mode and single mode) cable to required certification
- Integrating and configuring telecommunication devices and tools to industry
- standards. Connects fibre optic cables to networking outlets and between network
- outlets.
- Thrusting and underground cabling for residential customer's, consenting and open
- trench work.
- Pole Climbing.
- Other tasks assigned by the employer.
- Complying with health and safety.
- You will be working in Hawke's Bay region. We will also require you to workManawatu/Whanganui, Taranaki and Gisborne. We require you to work guaranteed minimumhours of 30. We may require you to work up to 40 hours per week. The role is full timepermanent.
- We operate Monday to Friday between 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
- We offer a wage rate of $29.66per hour.
- We may require criminal history check from you and drug test.

Pay: $29.66 per hour
