**About the role**
Be part of our team of highly skilled fabricators where you can really showcase your expertise with a supportive team environment and strong, collaborative team culture.

You will be assembling and welding together plastic tanks for chemical storage. You will work alongside a team that takes real pride in building high-quality and complex products, ranging in size from 200 litres up to 60,000 litres capacity.

This diverse role will see you working as part of a team of six who fabricate. You will enjoy the technical challenges of working on diverse and unique products, be part of a great team and have access to state-of-the-art tools and machinery.

Key responsibilities:

- Fabricating, assembling, and welding together products based on supplied workshop drawings
- Ensuring products are completed on time, within specification
- Occasionally traveling to conduct site installations in Auckland and beyond

**About you**
- A strong mechanical background with a relevant qualification - for example as a steel fabricator, boiler maker, or welder - the ideal background however will be plastic fabrication.
- Able to read drawings and understand tolerances
- Able to prep joins for all sheet thicknesses and welding types for PE, PP and PVC
- Understand how to use an extrusion gun
- Knowledge of butt welding would be very useful
- Able to complete products within specified timeframes and within specification
