**CARETAKER ASSISTANT POSITION**

**Fairfield Intermediate School is seeking a reliable and energetic school Caretaker Assistant to assist with the day-to-day upkeep of our school property. This position will involve assisting the Property Manager to ensure our school is a well-maintained and continues to be a safe environment. This position will suit someone who is physically fit and active, enjoys working outdoors and is able to interact in a friendly and professional manner with all members of our school community.**

The position is for 30 hours per week with hours over the school breaks to be negotiated. Conditions and remuneration are according to the School Caretakers’ and Cleaners’ Collective Agreement. The position will commence immediately or as negotiated. Applicants for this position require NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour
