**The Opportunity **|Te **kōwhiringa**

We’re seeking out concrete superstars to help Downer deliver on existing and upcoming Maintenance contracts. You will be primarily based out of Manchester Place - Hamilton, but the job does occasionally involve travel to other contracted areas and the odd overnight away from home.

As a Concrete Labourer you will carry out concrete footpath, kerb and channel construction and repair. You will also;
- Help with safe site setup for your crew and the general public
- Assist with installation of framework and prep work for concrete pour
- Pour and finish concrete placement including exposed Concrete finish
- Work as part of a cohesive team to deliver to projects
- Optimise the use of company resources and contributing to the successful completion of contracts Ensure efficient use of materials, supplies and equipment

**Important Skills | Nga pūkenga matua**
You will be a team player with an organized and systematic approach to the working environment. Experience in the civil contracting industry and experience installing/repairing concrete and form work will ensure you a foundation for success

You will also hold the ability to finish concrete work to high standards and work on exposed concrete. A full Class 1 Drivers licence is required in this role.
