We’re looking for a **Checkout Operator **to join our **Countdown Meadowbank **team

**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
- Face to face customer service at checkouts
- Manage cash and EFTPOS payments
- Help our customers by being knowledgeable about our products and services in our store
- Help us stick to the rules around the sale of age restricted goods, such as tobacco and alcohol
- Assist customers through our self-service checkouts

**In this customer-focused role we are looking for our new team member that**
- Understands good customer service.
- Help us make customer first decisions aligned to our processes and systems
- Work well within our team and communicate effectively
- A willingness to work on your feet for the duration of your shift
- A friendly smile and welcoming attitude

**The shifts times and days for this opportunity are**

Position 1 - Wednesday 1600 - 2100, Thursday 1600 - 2000 and Saturday 1500 - 2100
Position 2 - Thursday 1100 - 1700, Friday 0800 - 1600 and Saturday 1030 - 1600
