**He aha t**ā**u e mahi ana | **What You’ll Be doing:
Due to ongoing growth and innovation, we have established a new Farm Supervisor role, to support our oyster operations based near the Coromandel Township.

The purpose of the Farm Supervisor is to support the Farm & Shore Manager to effectively manage farm operations, support the oyster transformation project and develop a highly engaged team of farm workers to optimise performance and profits.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Actively contribute and support the development of a sustainable and cost-effective site, with the highest standards of quality, health & safety, and biosecurity.
- Day to day direction, and allocation of tasks and activities to team,
- Assist the maintenance of both the Pacific Oyster brood stock and experimental oyster lots of the selective breeding program.
- Establish and grow flip farm capability, output, and quality on our Coromandel farms
- Support the training, onboarding and induction of new and existing farm workers, to understand and carry out all tasks and responsibilities, aligned to SOPS, code of conduct and Moana’s farm standards
- Support and encourage a positive team culture, contributing to the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives
- Clear, honest and proactive communication with managers, supervisors and colleagues

You will thrive in this supervisory role, where you will have a high degree of responsibility, and play an important part in the growth of farm operations. You will have the opportunity to combine your excellent oyster farm knowledge and capability, with your flair for creating great employee experiences and developing high performing teams.

To be considered you must have proven supervisory experience, a strong understanding and knowledge of the ocean, including tides and weather patterns and be passionate about working outdoors, rain or sunshine. Ideally you will have a background in fisheries, aquaculture or equivalent, and have a practical, common-sense approach to work and be able to successfully manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
