Are you passionate about precision, organisation, and ensuring seamless document management within projects? We are seeking a dedicated Document Control Specialist to oversee, manage, and streamline our project documentation processes. This pivotal role will be responsible for the efficient distribution, maintenance, and accessibility of critical project documents.

As a Document Controller at Contact Energy, your success hinges on mastering a comprehensive set of skills and qualities. Meticulous attention to detail is paramount, ensuring accuracy in the management of a diverse array of project documents. Strong organizational skills are vital, facilitating efficient document structuring and accessibility for project teams. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is crucial for interaction with project stakeholders. Adaptability to evolving project needs and technological changes is fundamental, requiring staying updated on document management tools and industry practices. Proficiency in document management software is essential for efficient control. Collaborating with various stakeholders, problem-solving, process improvement initiatives, resourcefulness in managing document workflows, a sense of ownership, effective time management, and an unwavering commitment to high-quality work are core attributes that will define your success in this critical role.

**Qualifications**:
To excel as a Document Controller at Contact Energy, you should possess a blend of skills, knowledge, and experience that align with the demands of this critical position. Here are the key attributes and experience you'll contribute:

- ** Document Management Expertise**: You have a solid foundation in document management principles and practices, including version control, distribution, archiving, and retrieval. Your familiarity with document control software and systems is a significant asset.
- ** Industry Knowledge**: You bring industry-specific knowledge, particularly in the context of engineering and construction projects. Familiarity with energy, utilities, or related sectors is highly advantageous.
- ** Technical Proficiency**: Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as SharePoint, and or Aconex, is essential. Your ability to swiftly adapt to new document management technologies is valued.
