**Overall Purpose**:
**Principal Job Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate high customer care at all times including an ability to deal with VP’s on a one-to-one basis.
- Support both laptop & desktop PCs / MAC running any Microsoft OS in a Window Enterprise environment and MAC OS.
- To support hardware problems on all company networked and standalone printers
- Diagnose laptop & desktop PC / MAC hardware failures to component level.
- Ensure that all trouble tickets allocated are actioned, up-dated with all detail, resolved and closed within agreed SLAs.
- Provide support to the Verizon internal community at both 1stand 2nd line. This Includes telephone support, remote control as well as “desk-side” visits when requested.
- Recognise and provide information regarding education provided by training teams within Verizon.
- Contribute to a good and friendly working environment; working closely as a member of a strong support team.
- Liaise and provide support when needed amongst all IT Operations teams, and channel information through appropriate team members and peers.
- Provide customer support through all levels; trouble shooting, documentation, closure and escalation where necessary.
- To take ownership of problems until a resolution has been found to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Take on additional responsibilities which directly contribute to the success of the End User Support Team.

Minimum 5 years’ experience supporting E

Windows XP through to Windows 8

Excellent written & verbal communication skills E

Ability to work upon own initiative E

Ability to work in a team environment, demonstrating leadership skills E

Outstanding interpersonal skills E

Exceptional personal organisation & time management E

Attention to detail E

Documentation skills D

Flexible approach to working hours D

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 months
