He angitūtanga | About the role
We are looking for two IT professionals to be a part of a diverse, high functioning team and get stuck into a varied work portfolio supporting our Information Services function and the wider business. In this role, where no two days are the same, you will be working as part of a team responsible for providing support to our people and delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
This role requires someone who is agile, can quickly adapt and prioritise several tasks on the go at any one time. You will use your solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and initiative to identify upcoming IT trends in the business and have the confidence to drive your own learning and development in these areas to anticipate training and learning needs. You will also partner with key stakeholders, including a key internal partner - the central Learning and Development team - as you provide transformational IT focused learning for the organisation.
**Specifically, you will**:
- develop comprehensive training programs including materials and resources to support the specific needs of difference user groups
- conduct training sessions, workshops and one on one coaching to deliver engaging training to the business
- collaborate with business units, managers and end-users to assess training needs and identify knowledge gaps
- monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the training to identify areas of improvement
- looking at continuous improvement based on feedback, evaluation and emerging technology trends.

The Engagement and Service Quality Team works across the Information Systems and Service (ISS) and wider DOC business areas to support and deliver core IT Services. DOC refreshed its Digital Strategy in 2023 and this provides a roadmap to meet business outcomes. The ICT Strategy and Roadmap will ensure the right technology building blocks are in place to deliver business strategy.

The salary range for this position is $68,535 to $86,423 with the starting salary of the successful applicant being based on their relevant skills and experience.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand is mandatory - this includes holding a valid work visa that overs the whole period of employment.
