Export Manager

**About the Company**:A global business specialising in International Freight Forwarding, providing a seamless service offering to their clients.

**About the Role**:We are currently seeking an experienced export manager to manage the performance and productivity of the export department. You will also manage and mentor a team of two operators as well as processes & compliance.

**Duties include**:

- Managing and mentoring a team of two, ensuring all accreditations ( RACA and IATA) are kept up to date and complied with.
- Investigating and planning the most appropriate route for shipments ie: cost, transit time and security.
- Updating systems and procedures to comply with relative accreditations.
- Checking and preparing documentation and freight to meet customs and insurance requirements and compliance with overseas countries regulations.
- Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current client base and suppliers
- A member of the procurement team
- Manage resource to cover staff absence/ peak workflows ensuring a seamless operation for both internal & external stake holders
- Working with directors on recruitmentage
- Management reporting
- Staff reviews

**Skills & experience**:

- 5+ years international freight forwarding specifically export air / sea operations at a supervisory or management level.
