As Apparel team member/Apparel 2IC, you will be responsible for the apparel department, ensuring it is visually appealing and successful. Go out of your way to assist customers both in person and over the phone. You will create displays and merchandise the Head to Toe department to ensure there is a high sell through, especially on items that are not selling.

Reporting into the Trading Manager, in this role you will:

- Use visual merchandising techniques and associated guides to help make the department visually appealing to our customers.
- Encourage a sales culture within your team which includes Clothing, Jewellery, Footwear, and Accessories.
- Ensure merchandising standards are met and you will take a proactive role in creating and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Assisting and guiding customers with their apparel needs
- Provide support for the opening and closing of the store, on occasions as well as sole charge of the entire store as required
- Lead, coach, and motivate the team to success
- Know the layout of the department

**This is a permanent full time position covering the following shifts**:

- Tuesday - Thursday - 11:30am - 7:30pm - Apparel Team Member
- Friday & Saturday - 7am - 3:30pm - Apparel 2IC

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for the following skills and attributes:

- Commitment to the Customer and the in-store experience
- Self-Driven with a strong sense of urgency.
- Ability to interpret and execute plans.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Confident leader with proven experience in retail
