**Te āheinga: The opportunity**

We are seeking a registered nurse who is passionate about nursing education and has practical experience in Mental Health environments.

The role supports the delivery of our undergraduate curriculum leading to the Bachelor of Nursing. We will use your skills and specialist knowledge to facilitate learning for year two student nurses both in theory and the practical clinical contexts. Preference will be given to applicants having experience and interest in teaching nursing related to Mental Health.

As we are proud of our contemporary approaches to teaching and learning, you'll be supported to deliver teaching and learning strategies based on applied research findings to support our students achieve great results and be employed in a wide range of nursing practice environments.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

You'll have:

- Registration as a New Zealand (NZ) Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate from the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- A minimum of 3 years post graduate nursing practice experience (a NCNZ requirement).
- A keen interest and be open to learn more about education and facilitating student learning in a classroom, clinical practice area and simulation lab.
- A qualification to master's level or a plan to work towards this (NCNZ requirement)
- An understanding or desire to learn te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Māori
- Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
