Facilities within Waitaha Canterbury District include:

- Christchurch Women’s Hospital
- Hillmorton Hospital and the Princes Margaret Hospital - Mental Health Services
- Burwood Hospital - Older Persons Health and Rehabilitation Services, including the Spinal injuries Unit
- Ashburton Hospital - General Hospital, south of Christchurch

**Ko wai koe | About You**

The Waitaha Canterbury Integrated Respiratory Service provides tertiary level care to the people of Waitaha Canterbury and has links with other centres throughout Te Waipounamu South Island. Our service has longstanding and established links with primary care and other community health providers, and is nationally recognised as a leader in integrated care. Christchurch Hospital Respiratory Services provide acute inpatient and outpatient care across a range of respiratory disorders, including a dedicated Sleep Service, specialty clinics including Cystic Fibrosis, Pulmonary Hypertension and Lung Cancer, and a full Respiratory Physiology Service. Advanced Trainees can expect to gain experience across a broad range of respiratory disciplines.

- Applicants must hold an appropriate undergraduate medical qualification (MBChB or equivalent), have completed RACP Basic Training including RACP Written and Clinical Examinations, and hold current medical registration.
- Knowledge and commitment of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
- A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
