OneStaff New Plymouth is the leading supplier of temporary and permanent staff to many industrial-based clients in New Plymouth.

Our client is a local family business who have grown and developed consistently for 73 years. With a low turnover rate for staff a rare opportunity has opened up for a showroom consultant to join our clients team.

Our clients, New Plymouth based showroom offers a complete range of furniture from traditional to modern urban styles including the latest sleek motorised designs.

You will be working alongside other staff throughout the showroom, providing customer service and stock management.

**Duties will include but aren’t limited to;**
- Serve customers in showroom
- Answer telephones and respond to customer/supplier queries
- Invoice and organise delivery of goods sold
- Supervise delivery staff and support retail staff
- Ensure soilguarding completed (when required) and warranty completed
- Enter inventory on to computer system (setting up codes as required)
- Order product for both customer and store stock as required for all staff
- Raise Sales Orders for order in product
- Ensure all price lists are up to date in showroom
- Keep showroom organised and well presented at all times
- Unpack stock items as required checking against order numbers, quantity and quality of goods
- Undertake Bi-Annual Stocktake
- Work rostered weekends in showroom as required
- Undertake product knowledge in order to assist with customer service
- Assist with general cleaning duties of showroom
- Retail experience with strong customer service skills
- Time management with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent administrative skills
- Fast learner and able to pick up new systems with ease
- Able to multitask and follow through on tasks until completion
- Physically fit to manage job requirements

This is a full-time permanent role Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, working one Saturday per month, 10am - 4pm.
