We are looking for 2 passionate Orchard Supervisors to help us in our kiwifruit operation based in Bay of Plenty.

**About the job**:
As a supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the daily operation and work being carried out at the orchards. This role ensures that each team member’s performance is up to our company standards, motivate team members, look after our equipment and make sure each day runs smoothly.

**Responsibility**
- Set tasks for staff as per workload or priority list.
- Conduct inductions, risk assessments and training records.
- Ensure the operation complies with relevant government legislation, policies and procedures and Health & Safety regulations.
- Attract, develop and train workforce, as well as assist with staff recruitment, rosters, coaching, and evaluate work performance of the staff.
- Develop strategies to drive continuous improvement, increasing the team productivity and business growth.
- Record Keeping (Staff contact, communication, time sheets, and work details).
- Deliver documents such as timesheets contracts and others, to the office or other drop off points directed by sakarath private limited Contracting, within the defined deadlines according to Policies and procedures.
- Maintain an organised paperwork routine: Fill up required paper/reports of daily work plans and deploy this data as per our instructions.
- Assist and support the company marketing strategies by ensuring our communications are reaching
- You may be required to work alone, by yourself. When this happens, you are expected to maintain your usual professionalism and integrity. This includes not using the phone for personal use other than work and emergency. Also making sure there will be no time wasting on elongated breaks, among others.
- These duties may be modified by the Employer from time to time. The Employee also agrees to perform all other reasonable duties and comply with reasonable instructions issued by the employer.

- Relevant Kiwifruit supervisory work experience and up to date knowledge and techniques are desired
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test due to work involved

**Minimum 30 hours per week**
