**JOB SUMMARY**:
The New Zealand (NZ) Pilot Training Capability (PTC) In-Country Program Manager (PM) will be the primary point of contact for the Royal New Zealand Air Force (RNZAF), at RNZAF Base Ohakea, NZ, providing execution oversight of the Prime contract and leading Beechcraft New Zealand (BCNZ). The full-time Program Manager will be the Accountable Manager for the BCNZ Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO). BCNZ is a Textron Aviation Defense (TA Defense) subsidiary in NZ comprised of four onsite BCNZ employees. The NZ In-Country PTC Program Manager will report to TA Defense whom has the Prime Contract that include:

- Eleven (11) TA Defense T-6C aircraft
- Aircraft Maintenance Training
- Aircraft spares supply and repair exchange
- Aircraft maintenance
- Field Service Representative (FSR)
- Ongoing simulator support for two (2) CAE Operation Flight Trainers (OFT)
- Training syllabus development
- Training courseware customization

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provides leadership, management, and direction to CLS maintenance team for the onsite execution of the Prime contract.
- Issue and concern resolution on all items presented by the on-site RNZAF customer, Maintenance subcontractor and Simulator subcontractor.
- Directs maintenance and repair of eleven (11) T-6C aircraft. Knowledge of maintenance procedures and maintenance schedules.
- Responsible for office and hangar facilities - including vehicles and GSE.
- Plans and executes multiple repairs, maintenance, servicing, and support activities for multiple aircraft on flight line.
- Adhere to all aircraft maintenance and shop safety procedures and requirements at all times.
- Ensure compliance with all RNZAF Base Ohakea and local Directives.
- Provide day-to-day direction for team of Mechanics, Avionics Techs, Quality and Logistics personnel.
- Monitoring performance to contractual requirements and coordinating corrective actions, first with the TA Defense Program Manager, and ultimately with sub-contractor personnel
- Provide weekly written reports on Aircraft and Simulator status to customer
- Plan and execute multiple projects according to established milestones and schedule to meet contractual obligations.
- Attend and participate in coordination and planning activities with the RNZAF to deliver Pilot Training Outcomes of the contract
- Coordinates OCONUS visas for team and guests
- Interacts with the aircraft operator to update status and priorities.

**EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE**:

- National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA), or equivalent secondary school certification/degree required
- Graduate Diploma strongly desired in:

- Aviation Management
- Engineering
- Supply Chain
- Related Field
- Minimum 10 years of aviation experience required
- T-6C maintenance/operational experience desired
- Quality or inspection experience is preferred
- Leadership experience is preferred

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ability to legally work in New Zealand
- Able to work with others in stressful and demanding situations and help others through challenging times.
- Must have proven leadership/customer service skills and the ability to effectively interact with sub-contractors, and support all customer levels, from student through senior officers/managers.
- Must be computer literate in the Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Must be able to obtain RNZAF Basic security clearance for base access.
- Knowledge of EASA/EMAR applicable rules (Part 21,66, 145, 147 & Part M, Sub-part G)
- Prior program management experience preferred
- Prior experience in aircraft maintenance and flight line operations (preferred airframe T-6) preferred
- Understanding of military procedures and processes associated with military flight training, supply support, and maintenance operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
