Despatch Cleaner

Prolife Foods is a large food manufacturer based in Te Rapa, Hamilton. Our products you would see in most Supermarkets across New Zealand. Mother Earth, Donovans Chocolates, Flemings Muesli bars and our bulk food bins - The Carefillery or Refill Station.

Our site has a keen focus on food safety with cleaning playing a big part of our audit processes that are conducted on a regular basis. Therefore, the standards we hold are high, with the need for attention to the finer details. Ideally you have worked in a commercial cleaning role in the past, however, this is not essential to have. There will be some heavy lifting up to 10kg required as part of this role.

Our sites are cared for and cleaned by our own internal cleaning teams. We are looking to extend our cleaning hours to cover all operational shifts.

**This vacancy is for a morning shift: 6.00am - 2.30pm, Monday to Friday.**

Areas will include:

- General upkeep and maintenance of our warehousing and despatch areas
- Outside areas
- Warehouse Offices
- Corridors and Fire Exits
- Toilets and Bathrooms

A cleaning schedule will be provided to the new hire. Throughout the year, deep cleans will also be conducted to work in with auditing processes. The role will also be required to attend accident/incident clean ups as needed.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Hamilton, Waikato: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
