**- Cultivation Planning**: Plan and execute detailed crop schedules and growth plans, optimising conditions to ensure healthy and productive crops.

**- Team Leadership**: Lead and mentor farm staff, promoting safe practices and efficient operations across all farming activities.

**- Harvest and Post-Harvest Operations**:Direct the harvesting process, ensuring proper sorting, grading, and packaging to maintain high-quality standards.

**- Equipment and Systems Maintenance**: Maintain and manage all farm machinery and glasshouse systems, ensuring they operate smoothly and effectively.

**- Operational Record Keeping**: Keep comprehensive records of crop outputs, pest and disease control measures, and financial activities related to the farm.

**- Financial Management**: Plan and oversee the farm’s budget, forecasting expenses and tracking financial performance to ensure cost-effective operations.

**- Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure all farming practices adhere to applicable agricultural laws, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.

**- Innovation and Research**: Continuously explore and adopt new agricultural methods and technologies to enhance farm productivity and sustainability.

**- Customer and Supplier Engagement**: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring the farm’s products meet market expectations and demands.

**Other important requirements**:

- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of farm work, including long hours, outdoor work, and manual labour.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
