Diwan 1 Limited is a vibrant, fast-growing restaurant specializing in authentic shawarma and kebabs, dedicated to delivering high-quality Middle Eastern cuisine and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive operational excellence, who will be responsible for the following duties:

- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of team members, setting a high standard by example.
- Promote exceptional customer service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and comfortable at all times.
- Coordinate and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to handle weekly stock ordering and inventory management.
- Oversee delivery checks, verify orders, and manage daily cash handling and banking.
- Maintain accurate records for stock, prepare employee timesheets, and manage cash balances.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks to minimize wastage and manage stock levels.
- Review Weekly Sales & Inventory Reports to identify areas for business improvement in partnership with the owners.
- Direct housekeeping and cleanliness standards to maintain a welcoming restaurant environment.
- Provide a safe and compliant work environment for staff and customers.
- Resolve customer complaints, ensuring issues are addressed efficiently and professionally.
- Deliver exceptional service in handling customer inquiries and meeting their needs.
- Oversee purchasing, pricing, and budgeting transactions.
- Collaborate with chefs to plan menus, including special events and catering functions.
- Maintain accurate stock level records and ensure health regulations are consistently met.
- Support team members by assisting in taking orders during busy periods.
- Gather customer feedback to continuously improve service quality.
- Assist the owners in recruiting new staff and support ongoing staff training and supervision in both the kitchen and service areas.

Required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $29 to $34 per hour.

**Other requirements for the role**:

- Six Months of relevant work experience.
- Relevant qualification is highly preferable.
- Knowledge of Indian food is strongly preferable.
- Available to work late evening shifts
- Available to work on weekends.
- Leadership skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
