- Work with dysphagia and communication patients at Nelson Hospital, with a strong inpatient focus.

**Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)**

This is a part-time role, fixed term for one year, to cover temporary leave at Nelson Hospital within our adult SLT team.

There will be a strong focus on inpatient work (acute and rehab). There will likely also be opportunities for outpatient and/or community work. There will be a wide range of aetiologies to cover, and strong generalist skills will be an advantage.

**Ko wai he kaitono tōtika? (Who is an appropriate applicant?)**

We are seeking applicants who have:

- A relevant qualification in speech-language therapy that is recognised and approved by the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA).
- Registered member with the NZSTA.
- A current full driver’s licence.
- A minimum of two years’ experience in the hospital setting is preferred. However, new or recent graduates who have hospital experience are also encouraged to apply, and appropriate support will be provided should you be successful.
