Mō te tūnga | About the role
As an Assessor you will be relied upon to read and assess our customers' personal files and trusted to release information that they are entitled to receive under the Privacy and Official Information Acts.
This is a demanding role and you need to be able to communicate with customers to understand what matters to them and read and interpret large amounts of information that includes both electronic and paper files. The material you will be reading will be sensitive and you may find the content challenging.
Your role will be to make informed decisions about what information they can receive making sure that they get the information they need.

- A commitment to developing your knowledge and skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Demonstrated resilience
- A working knowledge and understanding of the Privacy Act 2020 and the Official Information Act 1982 is advantageous.
