We are offering opportunities to those with no experience or qualifications to join an intake of recruits for a comprehensive induction program and support through a clear career progression with recognition of achievements with increasing pay rates.

Successful applicants must have a willingness to grow and learn, agreeing to complete an initial Level 2 Health and Wellbeing qualification within 6 months of their commencement date. Starting hourly rate will be $22.49 and will increase to $24.06 when Level 2 is achieved, and will progress on with achievement.

Support workers play a hugely important role in helping the people we support to be safe and healthy, achieve greater independence, have a greater connection to their families and communities, and most importantly, to have fun and enjoy life. We are looking for recruits to fill full time positions including day shifts and wake overs for specific clients.

Tasks will vary depending on the service plan of the people you support but can include:

- Personal care tasks like showering, toileting, dressing and eating. May also include maintaining airways, medication administration, PEG Feeds, pressure area cares and stoma cares
- House hold tasks like cleaning, cooking, shopping and supporting independence tasks like learning new skills, trying new things and connecting with their community.
- When trainined you will be allocated appointments in the community and you need to travel from one appointment to the next in your own vehicle.

What we require:

- Full NZ working rights
- Exceptional written and verbal communication (English)
- Full drivers license with a reliable vehicle
- Fully Covid 19 vaccinated
- Available to work Monday - Sunday 7am to 8pm with every second weekend off.
- No criminal convictions
- A reasonable level of fitness
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol test and be willing to adhere to on-going random drug and alcohol testing
- Honest, hardworking, and well presented
