Insulation Labourer

We are looking for motivated Insulation Labourers to join our growing operations. We have an excellent team of professionals who specialise in installing insulation at local residential, rentals or commercial buildings.

The position is based in Hamilton, with work undertaken within client sites throughout the Waikato region. You may be required to travel to different locations from time to time as required to meet the needs of the business.

The pay band for this position is between $29.66 to $30.50 per hour with 30 hours minimum of work offered.

**Job responsibilities**
- Assist with installing or replacing insulation in attics, walls, ceilings, and around pipes as directed.
- Loads and unloads insulation or other materials.
- Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as required.
- Erect scaffolding, trestles, ladders, or other platforms
- Use equipment as directed, such as injecting loose fill or foam insulation or using draught sealant.
- Transport needed tools and equipment to work area.
- Assist with heating system or ventilation system installation or replacement as directed.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform corrective actions.
- Perform basic quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor.
- Comply with all safety and health regulations.
- Clean equipment and maintain cleanliness in work area by disposing material in a safe manner.
- Other general labourer and related duties as assigned.

**Job Prerequisites**
- Previous insulation, ventilation, energy installation roles / labourer roles or similar relevant experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, operate in confined places and to stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends and public holidays as required (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary).
