Our client is out to pick the best new addition to their exceptional, multi-disciplined team at their Rotorua store. Could it be you? Are you a keen rider with sound mechanical knowledge? Do you live to hit the road, hit the trails and breathe in the goodness of the great outdoors?

Cyclezone are looking for an experienced Bike Mechanic to help them out over the busy summer season. Offering between 15 - 35 hours per week from October to March, this role may include Saturday work. With New Zealand's mountain biking mecca in our back yard, this is a role that will suit a local guru, or someone who wants to enjoy the best of Rotorua’s outdoor wonderland over the summer months.

**Here's what the role entails**:

- Job planning, conduct detailed assessment and create a list of work required to complete the job
- Collation of bike parts/componentry required to complete the role, liaising with Workshop Manager to order additional parts
- Performing repairs and maintenance work to a high standard
- Assist with any warranty claims, seeking guidance from the Workshop Manager
- Perform quality checks
- Provide recommendations to customers on any further work required
- Process payments and book in follow up services

**What we need from you**:

- A friendly, approachable persona, with the ability to develop a rapport with customers quickly
- Experience with bike diagnostics and problem solving
- Bike service and repair experience, preferrably with Stumpjumpers, Levos, and E-bikes
- Bike assembly and pre-delivery inspections
- The ability to ask the right questions, to match customers with the right solutions
- Self-management, initiative, high attention to detail and the ability to priortise
- A company ambassador, contributing to maintaining and development Cyclezone's position in the riding community
- Someone who knows their stuff. Cyclezone customers range from beginner to guru, being able to adjust yourself to all levels of knowledge and experience is key
