**Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About the role**

This is a Permanent, Full-Time Role (Minimum of 37.5 hours per week).

Pay rate is between NZD 60,000 to NZD 65,000 depending on experience.

While teaching experience within the travel and tourism industry is preferred, it is not essential. Your extensive management experience in the tourism and aviation industry will be highly valued. We will provide you with comprehensive learning, and support teaching tools to become successful in your trainer role.

In this role, you will be facilitating learning using existing curriculum and resources to deliver a great student experience and support them achieve their qualification. You will play a key role in helping them progress along their career path as they graduate to becoming the next generation of Industry professionals

Key responsibilities include:

- Deliver learning objectives in a way that brings our curriculum alive for the student
- Mentoring students and tracking/monitoring of our student success
- Achieve graduate success outcomes

**Ko wai koe | About you**

To be a Tourism Trainer you will need solid industry experience ideally at least 4 years including at least 2 years supervisory level. It would be advantageous if you had a diploma or degree in Tourism and/or a background in the aviation industry (including ground / airport / flight attending), however it isn’t a requirement. It would be advantageous if you have a qualification in Adult Teaching but this is not required.
