Our client is trusted in their industry for servicing Elevated Work Platform (EWP) equipment, as well as other access and civil equipment. They're growing quickly with big goals, and we're looking for a self-starter EWP Technician to join their Auckland team.

**The Role**
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable EWP and Access Equipment Technician to join the team. In this position, you will respond to calls from customers that require service or answer questions about the functioning of new equipment.

The day to day is varied and consists of customer call-outs and servicing, but could include:

- Responding to service calls from customers to diagnose and repair EWP and access equipment issues
- Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of customer's EWP equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and in compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Performing upgrades and modifications to customers' EWP equipment to improve their performance and safety
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on customers' EWP equipment
- Providing technical support and training to customers and their operators as required
- Communicating with customers and colleagues to coordinate and schedule repairs and maintenance services

Ultimately, you'll be running your own portfolio of clients, and will have the freedom and flexibility to manage these as you see fit. They're highly outcomes focused, and we're looking for a technician who's values are a match to their's.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience as an EWP Technician or in a similar role. We're open to Auto Electricians looking for a career shift. You must be CBIP qualified or equivalent preferred, or willing to gain these qualifications (we can support you with this).

Additionally, you must have strong technical knowledge of EWP equipment and their components, including hydraulics, electrical systems, and engines. We require you to have excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills, as well as strong communication and customer service skills. You must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
