We are currently looking for committed and reliable Taxi Drivers to join us in Auckland region. Reliability and right attitude are key to succeeding in this role. To be successful as a taxi driver, you should be punctual, reliable, and excellent at time management in order to ensure that each journey for our passengers remains safe and pleasant.

**Number of positions for this job: 03**
**Employment type: Permanent Full-Time**
**Minimum guaranteed hours of work Per week: 30**
**Days Required: Monday to Sunday (flexible hours)**
**Hourly rate: Between $29.66- $30.00 per hour**

Your duties will include but not limited to:

- Drives a taxi to transport passengers to their destinations
- Picking up passengers at designated locations or when hailed
- Assisting passengers with the loading and unloading of their baggage and other personal belongings, as needed.
- Be able to use systems to log into waiting passenger information
- Checking passenger destinations and determining most appropriate route
- Starting and stopping the taximeter at the correct times.
- Collecting fares and processing fare payments
- Ensuring that passengers remain safe throughout the journey.
- Ensuring that the vehicle remains clean and in excellent working condition.
- Pre-checks of vehicle before each trip to ensure the vehicle in line with road safety and vehicle safety standards
- Report defects or violations - immediately report the instance to the Manager.
- Be able to follow health and Safety operation during driving & Complying with all traffic laws at all times
- Valid driver's license
- P endorsement
- Familiarity with GPS software
- Well-groomed, professional appearance
- Flexible Work Availability as you will be required to work night shifts, as well as during weekends and public holidays as needed
- Being physically fit
- Have a positive and calm attitude with a strong customer-focused work ethic
- Time management skills
- Strong Health & Safety focus & adherence to all H&S procedures
- Willingness to follow standard operating procedures
- Committed and reliable
- Pass the drug test
- No criminal records
