This New Zealand owned and operated company has over 30 years in business and developed a strong and consistent relationship with their customer base. They engage in a diverse and interesting portfolio of ongoing projects in commercial construction, high voltage switchyards, earthworks, drainage among others. Due to a significantly increased workload, they are seeking a Christchurch based Civil Estimator /QS to join our team.

**The Role**
- Conduct measurement of civil works, including drainage and concrete structures.
- Produce accurate and timely cost estimates for various civil construction projects.
- Handle valuations/pricing of projects, client tender notices, and information requests.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier bids for competitive pricing.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Have relevant tertiary level qualifications (or industry specific experience to a similar degree),
- Have relevant experience in civil construction estimating,
- Have excellent communication and negotiation abilities,
- Have a high degree of accuracy, timeliness, and attention to detail to prepare estimates for internal review and submission.
