You will be responsible for project management, setting up and operating our audio-visual equipment at a variety of events.
Get involved in a niche area of the AV industry and to work on some truly interesting project
**About the Business**
Our team is young and energetic, being a smaller organisation all ideas are considered and everyone supports each other, in this friendly environment.
We are looking for a Wellington based person to look after our New Zealand Events.
- This is a full time role.
- 1 - 2+ years’ experience in the Audio Visual industry or some background in Electronics or IT
- Ideally a degree in Audio / Electronics / IT
- You are a self-starter, able to work individually or as part of a team and possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- We are a B2B organisation and you will be meeting and supporting high level management and government staff customers.
- Your presentation and manners must be impeccable.
- You must have the flexibility to work after hours and weekends when required. We have a Time-in-Lieu arrangement in place.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Configuring equipment for a wide variety clients
- Warehouse management and packing events.
- Managing language technology for events
- Design of system solutions based on client requirements
- Providing technical support to customers
- Installation, operation & dismantling of Simultaneous Interpretation, Conference Microphone systems including Interpreters booths
- Logistics and Planning of your jobs.
- For the right person you will be quickly exposed to project management and client management

**Education**:
- Certificate I - IV (preferred) Experience:
- Audio Visual: 2-3 year (preferred)
- Driver’s License Manual (required)

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
